We’ll Not Vote For NPP Again: ‘Angry’ Residents In NPP’s Stronghold Tell Akufo Addo The Bitter Truth

The recent unexpected news that has raised massive concerns across all social media platforms was when the residents within the Ashanti region came out to express their immense disappointment in the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) over failed promises among others.

Speaking in a recent interview on JoyNews, the Unit Committee Chairman for Antoa Electoral Area, Amaning Kwarteng was given the privilege to access the performance of the party he voted to power in both the 2016 and 2022 general elections but the unexpected happened after he expressed massive disappointment in the Akufo Addo-Bawumia led administration.

“Someone should tell the NPP government that those times the party was in our DNA is over. They’ve punished us severely especially the Kwabre-East constituency. The sad story is that the young woman that we elected with 71,00 votes has done nothing for the constituency. What do the government appointees tell President Akufo Addo? Look at Suame, where is the interchange? The taxes and E-levy, is it the Asantehene that collects them? NPP has disappointed us and we’ll no longer beg you to fix our roads. If you like fix it, or don’t fix it because we have no life for the party again. Look at the poor roads in our region; you are disgracing Asanteman. You have disappointed us because we have had no benefits from electing the MPs in parliament and the President as well. We will not vote for the NPP again”, the residents in the Ashanti region emphatically revealed.

Do you think that John Mahama will be the best Presidential candidate to turn the tables around for the residents in the Ashanti region considering his previous developmental projects in the NPP’s stronghold even though most individuals agreed otherwise?

Do you think that President Akufo Addo has undoubtedly failed the residents in the NPP’s stronghold considering the massive votes and support the party had in winning the 2020 elections against their immediate competitors, NDC even though most individuals claimed otherwise?

What are your thoughts after the ‘angry’ residents in the NPP’s stronghold finally expressed immense disappointment in the NPP government again which has caused massive reactions online even though most individuals claim otherwise?
