In a new update to the young lady whose mortal remains were found secretly buried in a chief’s room in Mankessim, a pastor who aided in the dastardly act has been apprehended.
3news reports that on Tuesday, September 20, the pastor led investigators to the room of the Tufohene of Ekumfi Akwakrom, Nana Crack where the dead body of Georgina Asor Botchwey was exhumed.
According to reports, the two may have kidnapped her, had multiple sex encounters with her, and then killed her. The chief, who is currently on the run, buried her after that in one of his chambers. According to reports, the body has been buried for the last three weeks.
Residents have been hit by shock concerning the situation, especially because a chief is involved. One Cephas Arthur, an assemblyman from the region, requested that the Inspector General of Police (IGP) must increase security in Mankessim and the surrounding area.
According to him, this is the fifth incidence of this kind to occur in the area this year, therefore it is not the first.
If the pastor and the chief are found, he claimed that the law must deal with them.
