Nana Addo Announces Adwoa Safo’s Replacement

A new Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection has been named and this is subjected to parliament’s approval.

This comes after the substantive minister, Hon. Sarah Adwoa Safo was sacked by the president following her absence from work for several months.

The new minister is in the person of the Deputy Minister for Gender Children and Social Protection, Hon. Lariba Zuweira Abudu, Member of Parliament for Walewale.

This was made known in a statement signed by the Director of Communications at the Presidency, Eugene Arhin, and it was also revealed in the statement that Hon. Francisca Oteng Mensah, Member of Parliament for Kwabre East has also been appointed as deputy Minister-designate for Gender, Children, and Social Protection.
