Kwame Nkrumah Founded Ghana, Your Father Didn’t Even Build A Kiosk For Us- Captain Smart Reveals

Currently in Ghana every 4th August is a Founders’ Day. It is a day that is set aside by the current government or President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo to celebrate and remember Ghanaians who fought, struggled and made Ghana what it is at the moment.

Today is the 4th of August, 2022 and it is the Founders’ day. It is also a public holiday and Ghanaians are supposed to remember their forefathers for their contributions to the development of Ghana. Most people have wondered about who is the actual founder of Ghana. Of course some Ghanaians think that the first President of Ghana Dr Kwame Nkrumah was the founder and other people also think otherwise. But one of Ghana’s journalist has done justice to this debate and even asked the current President what his father, the second President of Ghana did for Ghanaians.

One of Ghana’s top journalist, Captain Smart has talked about this remembrance today on his Maakye program on Onua TV this morning. He talked about how the date was changed from its previous date to the new date and who is actually the founder of Ghana.

On his show this morning, he boldly told Ghanaians and the incumbent President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo that, Kwame Nkrumah singlehandedly founded Ghana. He said that, Kwame Nkrumah is the founder of Ghana and nobody can change that, not even the President.

He went ahead to ask President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo what his late and former President of Ghana, Edward Akufo Addo did for Ghanaians. He boldly told him that, his father did not even build a kiosk for Ghanaians, so he cannot be considered as a founder of Ghana.

Captain Smart also added that, Kwame Nkrumah changed Ghana in a very short time, he brought a lot of development to Ghana to the extent that, the works of the Presidents that followed him look like they have done nothing for Ghanaians. He went ahead to mention most of his achievements.
