Asante Kotoko Lose Another Top Player Ahead of CAF Champions League

Ghana Premier League champions, Kumasi Asante Kotoko are on the verge of losing a key player who helped them win the league last season.

The Porcupine Warriors were a fantastic side where they produced a fine run of form leading up to their first premier league title in eight league seasons.

By virtue of the premier league title annexation, the record Ghana Premier League holders will return to the CAF Champions league set to kick start in September this year.

Last two seasons was not the best for the Porcupine Warriors as they lost the treble to their arch rivals, Accra Hearts of Oak.

They lost the premier league title, the FA Cup and the automatic Super Cup to their rivals, Accra Hearts of Oak much to the chagrin of their teeming fans.

Several media reports have it that, Sudanese club, Al Hilal Omdurman and Asante Kotoko have reached a full agreement for the transfer of left back, Imoro Ibrahim. The Sudanese club will pay $150,000 plus about $260,000 add-ons to the Kumasi-based club.
