Arsenal will no doubt be the busiest of the Premier League’s top six clubs as the January transfer window enters its final week.
Mikel Arteta has overseen a recent upturn in form at Arsenal but there are still some things to sort out off the pitch.
Mesut Ozil has finally left the club, as has Sead Kolasinac, but there are still others who need to depart.
On the flip side, there are incomings to sort with the Martin Odegaard deal yet to cross the line as well as Arteta ‘s continued search for a full-back.
In today’s transfer round-up there’s news on both the outgoings and incomings.
Odegaard makes visit
Arsenal’s Odegaard announcement will likely be today after he paid a visit to the club’s training ground on Monday.
According to Goal, the 22-year-old met his new team-mates, underwent his medical and all the usual club media duties.
The Real Madrid man is expected to join on loan until the end of the season.
Lucas Torreira has failed to get things going at Atletico Madrid so far and could be recalled to go out again.
According to Tuttosport, Arsenal are set to meet with Fiorentina who want the midfielder on loan.
The deal would include a buy clause which would not rise above €11m (£9.7m).
Any deal happening resides with Atletico being comfortable with their loan deal being axed.

Football.London claim the German is in talks with Arsenal over having his contract terminated early.
The 28-year-old has not played since Boxing Day and with plenty of competition in the central defence area it seems his days are numbered.
